Comments: Mixed reports claim that the Japanese giant tech will unveil the smartphone sometime next month, with rumors suggesting that it will be part of the IFA event in Berlin, Germany happening September 4 to 9, where exhibitors will present the latest update for consumer electronics and home appliances. The assumption for the September release is based on the history of the franchise in which Sony almost always introduces a new Xperia product at the tradeshow. Following this year's launch of top-end handheld devices, Xperia Z3+, the Xperia Z4, and the Xperia Z4v, Xperia Z5 is said to be released in three offerings – Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Compact, and the Xperia Z5+. However, the phablet Z5+ is speculated to come towards the end of 2015, presumably October or November. When it comes to specifications, Xperia Z5 being the core smartphone may have 5.2-inch screen either in high quality definition or 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution. It may also have USB Type-C support, run on the upcoming operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow and have a fingerprint print scanner located below a bulging rear camera which has 20.7-megapixel capacity.
